I Just Want To Thank You Lord!

This is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it.

I just want to take this time and rejoice in God's goodness towards me and to thank him from the bottom of my heart for his goodness and mercy. Thank you is something we don’t say much of especially to the Lord, but He’s to be thanked daily throughout the day for His goodness and mercy which is new everyday. My heart is grateful O Lord and I want to say thank you for everything and name my blessing one by one, for you O Lord are a great, wonderful, awesome, faithful, miraculous, loving, righteous, holy and a most Sovereign God.

Thanksgiving is a form of worshiping God, to meditate upon God’s goodness towards us and be personal with Him. Do not take things for granted or if you say thank you lord don’t let it be superficial, but let it be genuine with sincerity, love, and adoration. Give thank unto God rejoicing in his holy presence and he will fill you with his holy presence, and you will receive more of his favor upon your life.

We can all take a page from David’s life, he was dedicated to God and he let it be known to the world. King David always thank, praise and worship God because he loved the Lord, he knew who God was to him, and he knew the benefits to worshiping God. I want to be more like David because he was a man after God’s own heart, and he knew how to give thanks and praise to his God. David has a entire book dedicated to God in the bible, it is the book of Psalms. These psalms brings comfort, peace, and joy to our hearts; can you imagine what it does to God heart.

I am going to take this opportunity to say thank you Lord for all that you have done for me from before I was born until this present day.

Thank you Lord for I was wonderful and fearfully made in your imagine. You took the time to think about who I was going to be, you made me unique as unto you, and you put purpose in my life.

Thank you Lord for placing me into the family that you did, although they were not ideal it was were I needed to be to become the person you wanted me to be.

Thank you Lord for the place of my birth because it’s a place of beauty.

Thank you Lord for my mind, body, and spirit, for how you made me, and for all that you put within me to grow and learn.

Thank you Lord for the days of my youth. When I was lonely, sad, and hurt, you were always there for me. When I didn’t understand nor knew right from wrong you were there for me to guide me through every lonely and hurtful moment, and you comforted me with your arms of love.

Thank you Lord for listening to my heart’s cry and for drying my tears, you were always there for me when others failed me.

Thank you Lord for my childhood education. You helped me to learn when my mind was stubborn, and you helped me to triumph over many difficult moments in learning which was was challenging to me.

Thank you Lord for taking me through my teenage years which was complicated and fill with turmoil, I struggled to find myself and where I belonged but yet again you were there to help me. You helped me to sift through all the garbage that infiltrated my mind, and you took me out of many, many, many troubled waters.

Thank you Lord for taking me through young adulthood where many pressures were added in my life, I were not properly equipped nor prepared to handle life.

Thank you Lord for my children. Although I had them young you helped me to be a good mother, and through all my mistakes and faults you did not abandoned neither me nor my children. I love you Lord!

Thank you Lord for bringing me into adulthood. It was not an easy journey but I am learned to be just a little more wiser. Although things was still rough you helped me to come to grips with life’s humongous and overwhelming problems, and you brought me out stronger and more secure.

Thank you Lord for I am now half way through life, a bit older and a bit more wiser but still with many challenges. Your mighty hands guided me through, and I knew that it was with your help that I was able to make it.

Thank you Lord for today as I humble myself and in tune my spirit to you. I am listening to hear from you, to receive direction as to your plans for me so I may carry them out.

Thank you Lord for the prayer ministry you entrusted me with to intercede on behalf of our children around the nation.

Thank you Lord for the bright future you have ahead for me, and for the surprises you are bringing forth in my life.

Thank you Lord for new beginnings, restoration, revision, refreshment, and healing.

Thank you Lord for all your blessings that you gave to me, that you have for me right now, and for the blessings that you will be giving me in the future.

If you can’t find a specific reason to thank God, just thank Him for who He is.
