Praying in the Spirit

Recieve What You Ask For
Most people when they hear these words "Praying in the Spirit" automatically think it means praying in tongues; tongues is a spiritual gift from God, your spirit ( the Holy Spirit) is praying to God through you and you do not have the understanding of what you are saying, in 1st Corinthians 14;14 it states "if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful"). Unknown tongues is an individual own personal prayer language with God, which is interpret by God and and its meant to bring edification (upliftment and enlightenment or understanding) to the person praying.(1Corinthians 14:2 & 4) " he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him;" "he that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself".
When we enter before the Lord to pray we must be in the spirit of reverence and go in with an earness expectation of receiving from God. Praying is a intimate encounter with your Holy father so when we pray in the spirit we are praying God's written word back to Him, this is how you get results from God, He loves when you remind Him of His words and this puts a demand on God to respond according to what He had said, we know that God is not a man that He should lie so you should have every confidence of the result because the result will be found in that same word also. To pray in the spirit you have to know what God's word says and the requirement that is needed to be met in order to get the specific results, do not think that you can come to God the Almighty any and any way and just read back His word to Him and that's all to it because you are in for a rude awakening. In John 15:7 "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you want and it shall be done unto you" this is a promise from God. In order for something to come out of you , you have to first put something in you, that means the Holy Spirit cant bring something back to your remembrance if there is nothing stored in your mind so therefore you have to read the word of God to know His promises, declarations and principles in order for them to work for you. For example in Proverbs 3:5-6, it states "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths". Their are three requirements here before you can get the desired result, 1. you have to trust God with your entire being, all of your heart 2.Do not rely on your own understanding or ability 3.Acknowledge God in everything you do and say at all times and then you will receive His promise to you, He will direct you in everything. This is a lifestyle and it takes commitment, obedience and faith; God is not to be taken lightly, He's not someone you take for granted thinking you can turn Him on or off at your whim or when it is convenient to you, or when you feel like it, or when you want something from God; then you will do what He ask, No God do not deal like that. Would you go before a natural king in any fashion and speak any and any way, I don't think so! there are rules and protocol so it is with the KING of KINGS, the Creator of heaven and earth of of all of us.
The Holy Spirit is the power of God, the third person of the trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) He is the one that intercede in prayer with the father and will reveal all truth of God's will. In order to be filled with the Holy Spirit you have to be born again through the blood of Jesus. To receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savouir you have go to Him with a sincere heart and believe in Him, that Jesus is the son of God and He came and died for our sins and on the third day He was risen and now He sits on the right hand of God in Heaven, after this you would confess your sin or that you are a sinner and invites Him into your heart because you want to live for Him and He will forgive you and you shall be saved. See Romans 10:9-10.
